Charm
School Lesson #5
Charm Tuesday
This is a scrappy one!! This project finishes off just shy of a twin sized quilt at 58 1/2 by 84 inches..
Quilt using a large repeat pattern or a large stimple and you'll have a wonderful project to enjoy for years.
Class Supplies:
- 260 Charm squares (5" x 5") - 9 packs
- 156 light toned individual charms
- 104 dark toned individual charms
- Binding - 5/8 yard
- Backing - 5 1/2 yds. or 67" of 108" wide material
You can substitute 13 light fat quarters and 9 dark fat quarters for the charms

Here's
how Charm School works:
- Twice a month, a
new Charm Pattern from Moda will be made available to you, here on this
page.
- There are 12 patterns
total, including a pattern for a tote bag, yo-yo drop belt and an instructional
sheet "What can I do with a 5" square".
- Simply buy the number
of charms required for the project and we'll ship the currently advertised
project plus the instructional sheet to you with your order. It's that
simple!!
- For each project,
we'll list the fabric requirements, including the total number of charms
required and the recommended proportion of lights to darks. If additional
yardage is needed for borders, that will be listed as well.
- A black and white
or color image of the completed quilt! It's up to you to pick the lovely
charm squares from our offerings to make your quilt.
- Homework has never
been more fun - and NO TESTS, no teachers - only you, fabric, patterns
and your machine!! Qualifications: You must be a quilter - previous
fabric shopping experience is very nice!!
