Each of the 9 blocks is pieced in strips and rectangles with the images fused to the fabric. You can top stitch them down or simply quilt around them when finishing the blocks.

We mounted our blocks on Styrofoam squares instead of wood. Light weight, cheap and oh, so quick! Push pins attach them to the wall.
