Cutting
Fabric:
Cut panel down
to 22 3/4" wide by 42 1/2" long.
Choose your
inner border fabric and cut 5, 3 1/2" x 21" strips from
your fat quarter. Attach these, end to end and cut into two strips
3 1/2" x 42 1/2" long. You will have some left over.
We used yellow in the demo quilt pictured above. Choose pink or
blue if you'd like. This fabric is to the left and right of the
main panel, in between the rows of alternating white, yellow and
green blocks.
To create the
four double strips of squares on the left and right of the main
panel, choose three fabrics and cut 10 strips of each color, 1
1/2" wide and 21" long. We used the following fabrics:
To create the
outer border, cut plaid fat quarter into 10, 1 1/2" strips.
Attach these end to end. You can choose an alternate fabric for
this as well depending on the color scheme of your quilt.
We are sold out of the plaid fabric at this time!!
